Software Services Engineer - 2nd Shift

Lucas Systems, Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Software Services Engineer to work 2nd Shift.? Initially, some overlap with the day shift staff is desirable for training.??The Software Services Engineer will be responsible for maintaining existing client solutions, deploying software directly to client environments, and providing client communication throughout the lifecycle of the product.? Additionally, the Software Services Engineer will have the opportunity to design, develop, and manage software enhancement projects.?Position DescriptionServe as Subject Matter Expert on existing and legacy technologiesManage customer relationships through regular communicationIdentify and react to complex production issues and provide timely and effective resolutionConduct debugging and analysis of existing softwareDevelop software patches to address identified issuesIdentify and resolve 3rd party hardware issues such as printers, wireless accessories, smartphones, tablets and ruggedized handheld devicesDesign, quote, develop, and deliver product enhancementsProvide database maintenance and optimization for client production environmentsServe as an after-hours technical resource to identify and address emergency production system issuesWork closely with other internal teams through all aspects of the Client Project lifecycleConfigure and maintain development/test environmentsCreate and maintain technical documentationAssist QA team with integration and regression testing?Minimum QualificationsBS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other technical degree and/or equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years of practical work experience writing and debugging stored procedures in SQL and developing in Visual Basic and C#.NET (or other OOP language)Good understanding of SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 maintenance and administrationKnowledge of Microsoft Operating SystemsExcellent communication skills including the ability to convey complex technical subject matter to both high-level IT personnel and end usersStrong problem solving skillsAbility to work largely independently in a fast-paced environment?Generous?benefit?package includes:? Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
