Senior Asset Management Consultant

Job Description Arcadis is seeking a Senior Asset Management Consultant for our Water Business Line to work on a variety of engagements with our Asset Management practice. Examples of the types of projects that the position will support include: condition assessment of public utility assets, rehabilitation and renewal planning, financial planning and support for overall water and wastewater master planning. We are interested in candidates in the Midwest Area (Akron, OH, Columbus, OH, Cleveland, OH, Toledo, OH, Cincinnati, OH, or Pittsburgh, PA). Please note; this position can be remote. Candidates should be experienced with technical delivery of asset management projects for the water and wastewater utility industry. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of industry accepted asset management tools and techniques including asset inventory, condition and consequence of failure assessments, life-cycle cost analysis, O&M programs, and capital investment planning. Candidates should also be experienced with the development of service levels, performance measures, and business process improvement initiatives. Understanding of asset management information technology and data needs including computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and geographic information systems (GIS) is a plus. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Work as part of the national asset management team to plan and deliver asset management solutions for our clients. Work directly with clients to determine needs and deliver solutions, and lead teams in the preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations. Manage and lead the growth of client relationships with preferred and target clients. Manage projects and clients in the Water Sector and other Sectors. Develop small to large asset management projects from inception to completion. Provide technical support to our team of highly skilled asset management professionals. Review and support the work of others and mentor junior level engineers & technical staff. Perform other duties, as assigned. Required Qualifications 10+ years of consulting delivery experience with an environmental engineering or management consulting firm or equivalent experience with a large municipal utility. B.S. in Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Engineering Management. 5+ years of leading asset management projects. Understanding of water and wastewater process equipment, distribution and collection system assets. Understanding of industry accepted asset management tools and techniques including asset inventory, condition and consequence of failure assessments, life-cycle cost analysis, O&M programs, as well as capital investment planning. Understanding of database functionality and information systems. Demonstrated project delivery experience including budget and schedule monitoring and control responsibilities.  Familiarity with formal project management and delivery tools, methodologies, and processes. Experience with the development of project proposals and work scopes. Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation.  Proven interpersonal and client relationship skills. Ability to travel up to 50%. Required Driving Statement This position requires a current valid driver's license and clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, M.B.A., or M.P.A. Professional Engineering Certification. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
